Oh, yeah. Today, I start the new job. Today, I go in and train with thirty other people for a job that hopefully, I already know how to do. I still need to fill out my paperwork before I go in. This is me, not filling out my paperwork. This is me, knowing I need this job and at the same time, not wanting to settle. We're all adults here. So we all know, that for the sake of my finances and because of the responsibility to my roommate (which in the past, I haven't really been good at), I'm going to get dressed, walk in there with a smile on my face and sit down to do this job until I find the place I really want to be. I just want you to know... it's not going to be this way forever. Tue, Jan. 16th, 2007, 09:39 am
Well, well, well.... she's still alive! I have been reading my friends' journals daily, but I just haven't seemed to get in here and post anything lately. Where to begin? Up until today, I was working at PCF still and lovin' it. Now I'm on to bigger and better things and I guess we will have to see how it all unfolds. Work is lame, but we have got to do it, so if I am going to work, I'm going to get paid as much money as is humanely possible. But if anyone is looking for a job with low face to face interaction with human beings and high phone usage, then PCF might be something you want to check out. The people are nice enough too. Mourn with me, friends. I no longer own my turtles, Aleks and Kevin. My kitty Angeles is getting most of my attention these days and it just wasnt fair. I wasnt keeping up with their tank like I used to, or playing with them as much as I used to. I found them a new home, where they will have a larger space and loving people (and kids) to take care of them. Woot for adoption! However, Angeles is doing well. She is spoiled rotten just like most of my animals usually are. She will be getting declawed on Friday (assuming my check is large enough for all my monthly bills and that). I don't see any reason that shouldn't be the case. Mandy, AJ and I's beta fish is also doing well. He's just kind of there, though. Life is going well. I've now got both cable and internet, which makes my life complete. I own pretty much every item that you can pimp out your computer with, and as an electronics geek, this makes me very happy. Our fridge is about the dirtiest fridge in the planet ever since I found my sexual innuendo magnets and Mandy, AJ and I went crazy. There is even a sentence placed on the fridge in the shape of a smiley face named Mister Sex. Yeah, we're pretty much all on crack. I've got an iPOD and and iCAT! Yay music! Mandy is helping me get some clothes and such so I can start doing drag. That should be interesting. I can't promise I'll be any good, seeing as I've never done it, but it will be fun either way. We've already got a couple of performances planned, one featuring Mandy as well, which should be a blast. Alright. Peace out, guys. Wed, Dec. 6th, 2006, 12:45 pm
So Shea (that's my car) kind of, sort of went explodey last night. My timing belt broke and messed up my water tank. If you're looking for technical terms then you are looking in the wrong place. Anyway, clearly I cannot drive it until these problems are fixed. Luckily, I DO get paid on Friday and I will be able to take care of this rather quickly and Mandy has most graciously become my ride to work for the next three days. The good news about all of this is my car well most likely run a hell of a lot better once I get this taken care. Anyone who knows me knows that this will make me extremely happy because I love Shea and I want to keep her as long as possible (Apparently today my car is a she). In other news, I am going to Panama City the weekend after this weekend to visit Courtney. This will be amazing because I don't get to see her nearly enough. Andrew is driving and even though I won't have much cash when we get there, it should be an awesome weekend rendevouz. Mon, Dec. 4th, 2006, 02:05 pm
I do believe this update is long overdue, but since anything worth telling has happened just recently I suppose I can't feel too bad about this. If you are not aware that my phone number has changed then you are hopelessly behind and should message me immediately and ask that I call you. More to the big items at hand though. I have moved out of the apartment and am now staying far far across town, off of Old Correy Field. It's a house out there, the rent is only a few dollars more and I inclined to say (though I don't wish to speak to soon) that I am happy with how this setup is working out. I will soon be getting a new vehicle, not that I don't love Shea (yes, my car finally has a gender-neutral name)! I'll be back into the whole school groove as of next fall, however, I will be transferring to PJC and taking only online classes. This will be far cheaper and much easier until I become more financially stable. I love you UWF, but bye bye and good luck! For those going, oh yes, not again, no....I'm serious this time. I'm visiting my parents for Christmas, for almost ten days and these days the three of us are getting along quite nicely, which is something I have been wanting for a long time. We havent seen each other in almost eight months and I hope past all hope that this trip goes well. If you don't know how much I want to have a good relationship with my parents then let me fill you in on this: I'm getting there via bus and it's going to be a ten hour trip. Oh yeah, that's love. Well, that's all for now. I want to hear from you guys. Do call or write. |
